Ananya Srinivasan
Junior Program Associate - Climate, Economics, and Finance
Ananya Srinivasan is a Junior Program Associate working under the Climate, Economics, and Finance Program at WRI India. She is primarily involved in projects pertaining to energy-economic modelling and policy analysis that provide stakeholders with low-carbon pathways for sustainable development.
Before joining WRI India, she interned at Athena Infonomics, where she worked on developing frameworks to enhance WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) service delivery for marginalized communities in Nepal. She has also written several articles and co-authored papers pertaining to trade and economy during her internship at Federation for Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Bangalore.
Ananya holds a master’s in Economics from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi. Prior to this, she completed her bachelor’s in Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics (triple major) from St. Joseph’s University in Bangalore.
During her free time, she likes to play badminton and pickleball, along with going for treks and involving herself in adventure sports. She also enjoys discovering new music and travelling.
