Deep Ponikar is a Junior Program Associate – Air Quality at WRI India, based in New Delhi. He supports field data collection, GIS analysis, and community engagement efforts to improve urban air quality. 

Deep holds a Master of Technology in Environmental Engineering from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat. His academic background and hands-on experience in environmental monitoring equip him to address complex air quality challenges in urban India.

Before joining WRI India, Deep developed skills in GIS mapping, visual communication, and field research. Outside of work, he enjoys performing stand-up comedy, singing, and watching movies and web series, bringing creativity and energy to both his professional and personal life.
