Elezebeth Baiju
Program Associate – Childhood Friendly Cities
Elezebeth Baiju is a Program Associate for Child-Friendly Cities at WRI India, where she serves as the city coordinator. She supports the integration of child-responsive planning and design principles into urban projects and policies, working closely with city officials and partners to make public spaces more inclusive for young children and their caregivers.
Before joining WRI India, Elezebeth worked with IPE Global, RACLD, and in academia, contributing to urban development, research, and planning projects across multiple cities. Her work has centered on strengthening city-level programs, spatial interventions, and community engagement to advance equitable and sustainable urban growth.
She holds a Bachelors in Architecture from KMEA College of Architecture and a M.Plan (Urban Housing) from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, where she specialized in housing policies, inclusive design, and community-oriented development.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading and travelling, often exploring new cultures and ideas.
