Jaskiran Warrik
Program Head – Restoration
Jaskiran leads the Restore pillar of the Food Loss and Waste (FLW) Program at WRI India. She focuses on aligning efforts to unlock finance for restoration at scale, build the capacity of local communities and organizations to effectively use available financing, ensure restoration economics are viable and beneficial for communities, and shape a compelling narrative that encourages the use of local funding for restoration.
She brings over a decade of experience in sustainable agriculture and multistakeholder projects. She has worked extensively on public-private partnerships, leading impactful initiatives and teams at organizations such as IDH, the Organic Cotton Accelerator, and most recently, the World Economic Forum. At WEF, she spearheaded regenerative and climate-adaptive projects, including the 100 Million Farmers Initiative—now part of the First Movers Coalition for Food—and established the Global Future Council on Soils.
Jaskiran holds two master’s degrees: one in Psychology from Christ University, Bangalore, and another in CSR, Green Management, and Energy from Bocconi University, Milan.
Outside of work, she is an avid board game player, enjoys reading Brandon Sanderson, solving crosswords, and attending music concerts. A reluctant fitness enthusiast, she prefers long walks with dogs to the gym and often experiments with growing her own vegetables and fruits in her terrace garden.
