Jayashree Devi is a Senior Program Associate with the Decarbonized Energy Consumption pillar, part of WRI India’s Energy Program. Her work primarily focuses on advancing sustainable practices in the buildings and cooling sectors.

Prior to joining WRI India, Jayashree served as a technical consultant for the Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) Cell under the Assam State Designated Agency, where she played a key role in promoting energy-efficient building practices across the state. Her professional career also includes experience as an architect in various architectural firms, where she was involved in the design and execution of diverse projects.

Jayashree holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Gauhati University, Assam.

Beyond her professional commitments, Jayashree enjoys gardening, reading, and experimenting with painting, finding creative inspiration and relaxation in these pursuits.
