At WRI India, I serve as a Junior Program Research Analyst with the Energy team, collaborating closely with the Clean Energy Supply group. My work centers on transmission planning and grid resilience to strengthen India’s sustainable energy infrastructure. I’m passionate about shaping effective energy policies and supporting solutions that address climate and sustainability challenges.

Prior to joining WRI India, I have a full-time work experience as a researcher at ZocDoc India, where I focused on data-driven research and analysis contributions. During my master’s, I interned with leading organizations such as Godrej Group, Lohum Cleantech, and Global Product Compliance (GPC), taking on roles that combined field-based and secondary research, regulatory analysis, and around sustainability practices. My roles also involved contributing to a live policy advocacy initiative with the Godrej Group that resulted in a regulatory change and actively engaging with government bodies, industry associations, and community stakeholders to drive impactful projects.

My academic foundation is a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mathematics from the University of Delhi. And I hold a master’s degree in Regulatory Policy and Governance from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, in which I developed an academic understanding of the Electricity sector regulations and policies. My international interdisciplinary perspective of energy sector is strengthened by a certificate course on “The Global Food, Energy, and Water Nexus for Sustainability” from Cornell University.

Beyond work, I enjoy music, movies and series, following sports, and creative content editing and design. I am always eager to explore new avenues for personal growth and contribution.
