Neha Misra is Program Lead – Climate Finance at WRI India, where she works to advance sustainable and equitable finance strategies at national and subnational levels. Her focus is on mobilizing climate-aligned capital to drive inclusive growth and resilience.

Before joining WRI, Neha was Senior Vice President at Impact Investment Exchange (IIX), where she led initiatives for a landmark $150 million gender and climate bond issuance across the Global South. She brings over 13 years of experience in technology, sustainability, and finance, having worked with corporates and startups in India and the U.S., including a stint on Wall Street in New York.

Her experience also includes working with LTSE, SEBI, PFRDA, NCDEX, and NISM amongst others as a Securities Markets Expert. She holds degrees in engineering and management and has been recognized with honours such as the CII PWC Top 100 Women in Innovation and the IIT Madras Young Alumni Award.

Outside of work, Neha enjoys swimming and reading, which she finds both grounding and inspiring.
