Samir Jagdish is a Senior Program Associate with the Climate, Economics and Finance at WRI India. His work primarily focuses on supporting just and inclusive low-carbon transition in India.

Prior to joining WRI India, Samir worked as an Associate at ISS ESG, where he focused on conducting norm-based research centered around environment, energy, and sustainability. His research entailed identifying corporate controversy conflicts with established international normative frameworks. He also worked at the Interfaith Center for Corporate Responsibility, where he conducted research and provided support for investor engagement on methane abatement in the oil and gas Sector.

Samir holds a dual degree Master's in Public Administration and Master’s in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore and Columbia University, and a Bachelor's in Environmental Studies from New York University.

In his free time, he enjoys playing board games or hanging out with his dog and cat.
