Sudipto Barua
Senior Program Associate – Sustainable Cities and Transport
Sudipto Barua is a Senior Program Associate under the Nurturing Neighbourhoods 2.0 program at WRI India. He provides technical support as an Urban Designer and Architect to help transform Kohima into a young-children and caregiver-friendly city.
Before joining WRI India, Sudipto worked as a Project Architect and Concept Designer with Nexus Design Studio for two years and Livin Colors Design for one year. His work spanned architecture, interiors, and master planning, covering the full cycle from conceptualization to on-ground execution.
An Urban Designer and Architect with over seven years of experience, Sudipto holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from K.R. Mangalam School of Architecture and Planning, IGNOU, and a master’s degree in urban design from the Faculty of Planning, CEPT University.
Outside of work, he enjoys hand sketching and perspective drawing, and actively plays football, badminton, and goes running.
