Tarandeep is a Senior Program Associate with the Climate, Economics and Finance program at WRI India where she works on macroeconomic modelling at national and subnational levels.

She has previously worked as a Research Analyst at the Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP), focusing on electric mobility, and as a Young Professional at NITI Aayog, where she contributed to national level policies. Her experience spans policy research and stakeholder engagement in sustainability and climate policy.

Tarandeep holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia and a master’s degree in Development Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading and travelling.
