Tavleen Singh
Senior Program Associate – Electric Mobility
Tavleen is a Senior Program Associate at WRI India, where she works to advance gender equity and inclusive development in the country’s electric mobility and transportation transitions. She leads research, develops policy frameworks, and collaborates with public and private stakeholders to ensure just and equitable outcomes for communities impacted by decarbonization.
With a multidisciplinary background spanning social protection, gender, health, and urban development, Tavleen has worked on large-scale projects focused on systems strengthening, community engagement, and evidence-based policy advocacy. Her experience includes managing diverse teams, building strategic partnerships, and working closely with governments, donors, and civil society organizations.
She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Delhi. Growing up across different parts of India nurtured her curiosity about people, cultures, and how cities function. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new places, creating DIY home projects, and getting competitive over a good board game.
