Junior Program Associate–Sustainable Cities & Transport
Vishwas M is a Junior Program Associate with the Sustainable Cities & Transport team at WRI India, where he contributes to research and initiatives advancing sustainable mobility. He holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru, and previously interned with Renesas Electronics, a Japan-based global semiconductor manufacturing firm.
He is the patent holder of “A Charging System for an Electric Vehicle and a Method Thereof” (Indian Patent No. 558353, granted January 21, 2025) and has published a research paper on “The Marketing Evolution: Balancing Human Creativity and Artificial Intelligence” in the International Journal of Innovative Research in Technology (Vol. 11, Issue 8, 2025). In 2023, he was selected as a student delegate for the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) Conference in Hong Kong, representing one of the few students chosen globally.
Outside of work, Vishwas enjoys reading, traveling, playing tennis, and engaging in social impact initiatives.
