Saket Singh is a Senior Program Associate with the Climate, Economics & Finance Program at WRI India. In this role, he is dedicated to strengthening WRI India’s work in the field of electric mobility and particularly enabling a just transition. His focus is on driving an equitable transition for MSMEs within industrial clusters, ensuring that sustainability and inclusivity remain at the core of this transformation. Saket also supports the program’s green skilling initiatives.

Before joining WRI India, Saket worked extensively on exploring the electric vehicle sector across various clusters and vehicle segments. He collaborated closely with various stakeholders, including industry leaders, policymakers and researchers, to assess market trends, policy impacts, and technological advancements in sustainable mobility. His work has contributed to a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges in transitioning to cleaner transportation solutions.

Saket holds a Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering and a Master’s degree in English Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi.

Outside of work, Saket is an avid observer of political and international affairs and enjoys engaging in meaningful discussions on these topics. He is also passionate about sports and spends his free time playing badminton and cricket.
